Common questions
Is this legal advice?
No. Holdfast is a guided document generator. It helps you identify the correct ground and produce correctly formatted paperwork — but it does not give legal advice and does not create a solicitor–client relationship. For complex situations, consult a qualified solicitor.
Does the notice generator cover all Section 8 grounds?
It covers the main grounds introduced or retained by the Renters' Rights Act 2025. Each ground is verified against legislation before it can drive a binding document — until then, only a watermarked draft is produced.
Does the one-off purchase expire?
No. Once purchased, the notice generator entitlement is yours to use for one notice generation. It does not expire.
What happens if the legal dataset isn't signed off yet?
You can complete the wizard and preview a DRAFT notice at any time. You are not charged until the dataset has been reviewed and the full document is available. The DRAFT is clearly watermarked.
Can I cancel Pro at any time?
Yes — cancel from the account page at any time. Your access continues until the end of the billing period. Your data is preserved; nothing is deleted on cancellation.
Does this work for Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland?
No. Holdfast covers England only. Possession law differs significantly across the UK nations.
